Nepal's unbeaten winning streak in the ACC women's Under-19 tournament continued after they beat Kuwait at the Chiang Mai Gymkhana to make it four wins out of four. However, Kuwait put up a good fight and took six Nepal wickets in the 37-run chase. Captain Priyada Murali took 3 for 3, while Siobhan Gomez, who top scored for Kuwait with 18, took 2 for 11 but Nary Thapa led Nepal to safety with a 7-ball 12. The target should have been a lot smaller had Nepal converted the chances to dismiss Gomez cheaply. Apart from her, no batsman scored more than four runs. Manisha Rawal picked up three wickets while Sonu Khadka and Keshari Chaudhari got two each.
Boosted by their triumph over Hong Kong on Tuesday, Thailand brushed away Oman with ease. Naruemol Chaiwai took four wickets as Oman were bowled out for 57, of which 37 runs were extras. Thailand needed only 9.3 overs to chase down the target and Pundarika Prathanmir (19) and Siwaporn Kosathong (16) got them there with an unbeaten 31-run stand.
Another poor performance bloated by extras was China's 69, which Bhutan comfortably chased inside 16 overs. Devika Darjee (4 for 11) conceded one wide and five no-balls, while Yeshey Choden (2 for 21) bowled nine wides in a total of 35 extras. Yang Bing top scored for China with 9 off 42 balls. Bhutan stuttered early in their chase as Liu Dan reduced them to 10 for 3 in 5.4 overs but they too were helped on their way by 38 extras, with Lu Ying bowling 10 wides.
